Juliana Rotich is a technology entrepreneur, speaker, and strategic advisor based in Nairobi, Kenya. She is a Venture Partner of Atlantica Ventures.

Rotich co-founded BRCK Inc, a hardware and services technology company formed to realize a vision to enable communication in low-infrastructure environments by developing useful, innovative and exciting hardware-centric technologies in Kenya.

In addition, she is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Ushahidi, an African-born non-profit technology company specializing in the development of free and open source software for information gathering, interactive maps and information custody.

Juliana is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum, an alum of MIT Media Lab Director’s Fellows, a senior member of TED and a member of the boards of the Standard Media Group, Safaricom Money Transfer Service Ltd, Mookh Africa, Blue Consulting and Kenya’s Vision 2030. He is currently part of the advisory board of the Lemelson Foundation
