Senén Barro

Graduated in Physics and PhD in Computer Science. From 2008 to 2017 he was president of RedEmprendia, a network of 28 of the best Ibero-American universities, Universia and Banco Santander, and which promotes responsible innovation and entrepreneurship in universities. He founded the Intelligent Systems group in 1990, one of the most relevant Spanish research groups in Artificial Intelligence and he has been editor o author of several books. Founding partner of “Situm Technologies” and “InVerbis Analytics”. Member of the Real Academia Galega de Ciencias.National Prize for Computer Science, José García Santesmases, 2020. Finally, president of the Organizing Committee of ECAI2020 (European Conference on Artificial Intelligence) and ECAI2024.
